I am a big fan of baked brie, and I have several recipes for various occasions. This recipe for savory baked brie is one of the easiest appetizers you will ever prepare, and it preps the pallet without ruining your appetite. If you are French, and the idea of eating cheese before a meal is repulsive, save it for the cheese course. Who cares? It’s baked brie. Do what you want.
This recipe is meant to provide a taste for all – it’s not a main course. As such, this could easily serve 6-8 people.
(Serves 6-8)1 round of Brie (5 oz / 140 g)
1 clove of garlic – sliced
1/3 cup cranberry sauce (see recipe for Christy’s Cranberry Sauce)
Toasted french-baguette rounds
